Wet Weather Policy
Each performance Quarry will differ due to the weather and light spontaneously interacting with the play. Warm or cool, clear or cloudy, the point at which twilight turns to night, being outdoors is an integral part of Quarry so PLEASE COME PREPARED FOR WEATHER!! The Quarry Arts Centre is completely uncovered. NYT will make every effort to complete the performance and reserves the right to stop and start the action as necessary.

Bring a raincoat.

Bring a torch.

EXCHANGE & REFUND POLICY:
Refunds are not given for cancellation or abandonment as a result of the weather; however performances will aim to take place regardless of weather conditions. If possible and at the discretion of NYT we will endeavour to exchange tickets for subsequent performances.

If a patron qualifies for an exchange in accordance with this Policy, patrons will be entitled to exchange tickets to attend another performance, subject to ticket availability for subsequent sessions. If a performance is cancelled NYT may reschedule the show on anon-designated evening and tickets will be able to be transferred at no cost upon contact of NYT administration.

Calling all aspiring Actors!
Years 7 through 13

Tutors: Peter Larsen BPSA and Jarrod Martin BPSA
With over thirty years combined experience in both film and theatre we’re offering classes to develop your acting muscles. By joining our classes your will:

• Develop actor’s instinct and imagination through improvisation.
• Hone acting technique through script based activities.
• Acquire understanding of how to develop character through action.
• Prepare for auditions.
• Improve vocal technique.
• Build confidence and communication skills.
• Have heaps of fun!
With experience in NCEA drama requirements we have the skills and experience to develop your hidden talents and build on your strengths.

Classes run on Tuesday’s afterschool during term at 88 Bank Street, Whangarei
Year 7 & 8, 3:30 – 4:30pm
Year 9 & 10, 4:30 – 5:30pm
Year 11 – 13, 5:30 – 6:30pm
