NYT Junior Show AUDITIONS!!!

Join the cast of the NYT Junior Production of "METAMORPHOSIS"

On Sunday 5th September 1 - 4pm

At the old Library (The Arts Promotion Trust, Rust Avenue)
This will be a three hour workshop.
Bring a snack or two!!
Don't be late!!!

The junior show is open to any aspiring actors aged 9 to 14

Rehearsals will commence from 16th September on Thursday evenings 4.30 till 7.30 and Saturday from 11 till 4 with a half hour lunch break.

Performance dates will be 30th October till 6th November.

ACTING CLASSES

Calling all aspiring Actors!
Years 7 through 13

Tutors: Peter Larsen BPSA and Jarrod Martin BPSA
With over thirty years combined experience in both film and theatre we’re offering classes to develop your acting muscles. By joining our classes your will:

• Develop actor’s instinct and imagination through improvisation.
• Hone acting technique through script based activities.
• Acquire understanding of how to develop character through action.
• Prepare for auditions.
• Improve vocal technique.
• Build confidence and communication skills.
• Have heaps of fun!
With experience in NCEA drama requirements we have the skills and experience to develop your hidden talents and build on your strengths.

Classes run on Tuesday’s afterschool during term at the Old Library on Rust Ave.
Year 7 & 8, 3:30 – 4:30pm
Year 9 & 10, 4:30 – 5:30pm
Year 11 – 13, 5:30 – 6:30pm

School Holidays

HOLIDAY PROGRAMMES EVERY SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
AGES 7 – 12yrs. $30 per head per day. Bookings now welcome for 2010 holiday programmes. Holiday programmes available at the end of each term.

School holiday programmes will be running again at $30 a day with a $30 non-refundable deposit. 9am-4pm with tutors yet to be confirmed.

Our holiday programmes provide a fun relaxed way to spend a day or a week in the hols. Play drama games, go to the movies, the library, the park or surprise us with your ideas for friday performances! A keen interest in acting is a must.
