Fantasy Photo Shoot - November
Photographer: Anna Terwiel
Producer: Hayley Douglas
Costumers: Hayley Douglas, Kenza Bell-Booth, Rose McKenzie
Make-up Artists: Kenza Bell-Booth, Erin Griffin
Throughout the year Northland Youth Theatre collaborated with Anna Terwiel to create a collection of fantasy-themed photos. This project was created out of the desire to capture some cool images while allowing for a different type of performance opportunity for our students. For some of the students it was their first time doing a photo shoot and we are very proud of them all for giving it a go and doing a spectacular job.
The project concluded with an exhibition to showcase and sell some exclusive photos, as well as a 2024 calendar. The calendar created a small fundraising opportunity for NYT, too.
A massive thank you to everyone involved in the completion of this incredible project. Thank you to all of our students who took on being models, and thank you for the characters you created. Thank you to our incredible costumers and make-up artists and your creative input for the shoots. We are incredibly grateful for all the wonderful public spaces in the Whangarei Region that we were able to utilise and show off, and thank you to the team at R. Tucker. Thompson for allowing us to shoot on your beautiful ship. And of course, a huge thank you to Anna Terwiel for all the amazing photographs- your time and skill are hugely appreciated and we couldn't have done it without you.
