Welcome to Northland Youth Theatre, where imagination takes center stage! Our after-school drama classes are designed to provide an amazing experience for young people, guided by our skilled and passionate tutors.

Pre-enrolment is essential, however new enrolees can come along for the first session commitment free, to get a feel for the class. Enrolments close after the 2nd week of the term. Fees per term are $135 In order to put these skills to use, NYT offers a number of opportunities, outside of classes, for students to take to the stage and perform.

TUESDAY JUNIORS- Ages 9-12 yrs
- 3:30pm - 4:3opm This class is ideal for those just starting out in drama or on the younger end of the age bracket. Lexi Laybourn teaches this class and is a great space to get to play, make friends, learn some skill and have a whole lot of fun. - 4:40pm - 6pm - Lexi Laybourn also runs this fun and creative class of performers and story tellers but also continues to help build performance skills through games and exercises. We look forward to seeing all the creative and fantastical skits & games that will be played out on a Tuesday afternoon! WEDNESDAY SENIORS- Ages 14+ yrs - 4pm - 6pm This class is ideal for those just starting out in drama or on the younger end of the age bracket. The focus for this class is more game based and social to help build skills as well as confidence to make the next step in performance learning. - 6:10pm - 8pm This class plays more advanced games and exercises to give the students a really strong grounding in practical performance skills as well as the fun and social aspect of drama. THURSDAY MIXED- Ages 12-17yrs - 4pm - 6pm - This class is a great intro to drama and a bit of a step up from the junior class. It is a great way to build personal, and performance, confidence alongside useful performance skills. The aim of the game is to create an ideal mix of fun and learning. THURSDAY ACTOR TRAINING- Ages 15-24yrs - 6:30 - 8:30pm Classes & Dates back term 1 2025:
