Welcome to Northland Youth Theatre, where imagination takes center stage! Our after-school drama classes are designed to provide an amazing experience for young people, guided by our skilled and passionate tutors.

Pre-enrolment is essential, however new enrolees can come along for the first session commitment free, to get a feel for the class. Fees per term are $135 In order to put these skills to use, NYT offers a number of opportunities, outside of classes, for students to take to the stage and perform.

TUESDAY JUNIORS-
Ages 9 - 12 4pm - 5.30pm Lexi Laybourn runs this fun and creative class of performers and story tellers. We look forward to seeing all the creative and fantastical skits & games that will be played out on a Tuesday afternoon! WEDNESDAY SENIORS- This class is currently full and running a waiting list Ages 14+ 4:15 pm - 6:15 pm This class plays more advanced games and exercises to give the students a really strong grounding in practical performance skills as well as the fun and social aspect of drama. Run by various highly skilled and talented professionals, including Georgia-May Russ, Julie Edwards and Lutz Hamm, who have a huge wealth of knowledge to share with the students in terms of techniques, skills and creativity, there is always something new to learn! THURSDAY MIXED- This class is currently full and running a waiting list Ages 12-17 4:15 pm - 6:15 pm This class is a great intro to drama for teenagers and brings a fun environment to learning. It is a great way to build personal, and performance, confidence alongside useful performance skills. Harrie Douglas is the core tutor of this class, alongside various guest tutors who all bring something different and exciting to the learning and play in this class. The aim of the game is to create an ideal mix of fun and learning. Classes & Dates back term 3 2023:
